What is the Difference Between Milk Chocolate and Regular Chocolate?

As the name implies, milk chocolate contains milk. This makes milk chocolate much lighter in color than dark chocolate, which can be very dark in color. Milk chocolate is light brown and is much softer in texture than dark chocolate, due to the added milk. Milk chocolate melts more easily than darker chocolates because of the added milk, and it is generally sweeter and less bitter. Because milk chocolate melts quickly, it is great as an eating chocolate.
